My text conversation with my mom....

Mom: I know why you are so down. Its the January BLAHS. I get them every year around this time.

Me: Yes. I agree that is exactly what I have. Now we just need a vaction to cure it.

Mom: Yes, some place sunny. And cost no money.

Me: Where would that be?

Mom: the Funny Place.

Me: the Funny Place??

Mom: Its were they send all the crazy people.

Me: How is there Sunny there?

Mom: I am just being silly.

Me: I know... its true though.. it may not be sunny, won't cost any money!!

Mom: BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH that is my January theme song

Me:  What is the tune you are BLAH(ing) too?

Mom: Come Come ye Saints--

Ha ha... that is how my our texting conversations go.... really random, funny to me! I love my mom and that she make me smile and laugh everyday. I love talking to her- she is one of my best friends! Thank you mom for helping me get through these January BLAHS!

Jake left for the MTC today January 5,2011

Jake is going to be serving in the mission field with honesty, prepration, dedication, faith, pray, knowledge and everything that he has been taught. 

Jake is going to be an amazing Missionary-

Jake and Jenna have been dating since Dec 2008.

They are the cutest and most amazing couple.

Jenna is having a little bit of a hard time with her best friend being gone, but she is strong and this will be an amazing time for her to grow and develope to the brilliant woman she will become.

I love Jenna and my heart goes out to her for her strength and courage.

They will survive!

We have spend alot of time with Jake.

We love Jake and send him positive and well wishes while he is out serving! He is going to be brillant and such an amazing spiritual witness to the people of Tonga!

Best of Luch Jake. You will constantly be in our thoughts and prayers....



the Bachelor

Loving me some of the NEW Bachelor!! Yummy Brad Womack is the New Bachelor of the season. YAY! Now.... I have to admit that when I first heard that Brad would be returning to the new season of the Bachelor, I was a little stunned! I know that he hurt ME... and Deanna and Jenni, but I do believe in 2nd chances. Give him a break its been 3 years and I strongly think that people can have a change of heart and I am cheering for him to find his true love this season. and...  I will admit isn't he some fine eye candy! I am excited for the new season of tears, drama, stress, dates, and everything this addictive show has to offer!! :) I love the Bachelor/Bachelorette!! but please pick someone this time Brad... PLEASE?!?! :)

Happy New Year 2011 Everyone!!

Here is to the new year... new time of life.... and new season of change.  I always love the new year.

We all have the oportunity to change things about ourself, or the course of our life.

Day #4

Oh a Day of Rest! After we ran the race yesterday and walked to the shuttle home, we were ready to do NOTHING but sit around the hotel and watch Glee all day. Later that night, Terry, Kasi and I all went to downtown disney to hang out and eat some yummy food at Planet Hollywood. It was a nice relaxing day!

Day #3

RACE DAY

This morning we had to get up and go down to the expo and pick up our t-shirts and race numbers and packets! I was SO nervous. there were tons of runner and a little bit overwhelming and thinking to myself. What did I get myself into?! and the problem was that we had ALL day to sit around and think about the race at 10 PM.

Terry, Kasi and I all got back to the hotel and decided a nice relaxing day at the pool was just what we needed. We had a good time with our coca-cola and sunglasses chilling in the water. After we played by the pool we relaxed and watched glee and took a nap to gear up for the long run and evening ahead of us. We loaded our buses about 730. I was a mess. I was talking myself out of running and saying i couldn't do it. We got to the MASSIVE field where runner after runner stepped off of the buses. I was very out of my element, but there was not turning back now. You could look right and look left and there were PEOPLE!! Tons of People... over 12,000 people that have all come out to run this race! The killer part was that we still had like 2 hours to walk around and get nervous and talk ourselfs out of running.

It was time to line up in our corrals. I was in corral D... the last corral and all by myself. The clock struck 10 and the fireworks and runners took off running. It took me about 20 mins for the corral D to get to the front of the starting line to take off.. and away we went.... I ran and ran.... and ran.... It was crazy how the adrenaline and energy just takes off inside you. I ran the whole 2 miles without walking... and then mile 3 and 4 were a little more difficult to get through, but then the beginning of mile 4 we entered into the Disney Animal Kingdom... it was so fun to run through the park and see some behind scene things.. Near the end of the Animal Kingdom, the relay runners split for the half marathoner and met up with our 2nd half.. I COMPLETED my portion of the race in 1 hour 2 mins! AHH... I was so excited that I challenged myself and race further then I ever had before.. Some people my say that running 5.1 miles isn't that much but for me it was a big thing... I am not a runner. So to challenge and keep up a really good pace and complete was AWESOME!! I crossed the finish line and got my medal... Which is wicked cool! and there I met Kasi and Little David John too take over so that she could run.

After Kasi and I did a baby switch, she took off running and David and I loaded the bus to see the finish line. I met 4 REALLY nice woman from NYC that helped me out so much with putting David's stroller under the bus and changing his diaper.. etc..

I finally got to Epcot where we were all meeting up and there was thousands and thousands of people everywhere. Terry and I had to search for each other and then had to search for Kasi and Konny. It was a long evening, by time we found everyone we were all so tired to enjoy the festivities we went home (after the mile walk to the buses).

The race was such an amazing experience for each one of us. We all had our fears, trials, and minds to over come. Terry texted me right before we took off running and said, "I'm running this race for you babe." I didn't really think about dedicating the run to anyone.. more proof to myself that i could complete it! Terry ran the ENTIRE 13.1 miles.... not stopping once to catch his breath or relax. That shows such will power and strength in the husband. He set his mind to it and he complete his goal at hand! I love him for that! I love that we challenged our self more then we thoughts we could and had a fun time while doing it! Can't wait for the next challenge we get to step foot in and conquered!! Congrats Terry, Kasi, Konny and me !!! We DID it!!!!

Day #2

Universal Orlando

This was such a fun day. We took a taxi to Universal Orlando so that we could go see the NEW Harry Potter World! We all had such a wonderful day, walking around alot and riding roller coaster and coaster. It was so nice to be with Terry, Kasi, Konny and Little David and enjoy the sunshine and a different scene!

LOVED HARRY POTTER WORLD OF WIZARDING!!! It was so awesome! It felt like you were in the wizarding world! Crazy! When we were done with Island of Adventrue, we walked over to Universal Studios... well we didn't know that they closed at 5 that night, so we were a little upset about not being able to go play in that park. Konny went to customer service to explain the situation and Universal gave us all free passes to come back another day! I was super excited about that....

We decided that instead of taking a taxi back to the hotel we would try PUBLIC trasportation.. that took us a while but we were able to see the beautiful sunset and get to see a little more of Florida then we bargined for. It was a great day
